Organised by The London Legal Support Trust, the Hastings Legal Walk takes place in September.
It raises funds for advice agencies in and around Hastings and usually raises between £3,000-£5,000.
Main beneficiaries have been Hastings Advice & Representation Centre (HARC), Hastings Citizens Advice Bureau and the Hastings service of Brighton Housing Trust.
The walk varies from year to year but always follows a coastal path. The route is decided annually by lawyers at Heringtons who always enter a sizeable walk team.
As the walk out from Hastings and back has many steps we have started walking from elsewhere and in to Hastings to end- allowing a flat beach walk
The designated Civil Judge for East Sussex usually leads the walk along with district judges from the County Court.
