What is the event?
A gruelling 10 kilometre obstacle course in and around Battersea Power Station. 4,500 participants take on the challenge.
Standard obstacles include the infamous Men's Health Wall of Fame, the hay bale scramble and the Army Assault course. Some obstacles involve water, mud, or ice, but you don't need to be able to swim. The course is both off-road and on-road, testing every possible aspect of competitors' athleticism.
Suitable for everyone from top-notch athletes, with prizes for first, second, and third, to complete obstacle amateurs; Survival of the Fittest is specifically designed to be universally achievable. Don't be put off if you're not a fitness fanatic! More than anything it will require stubborn determination to get yourself all the way around the course!
Full safety cover is provided on the course. There are also viewing areas in the event village for friends and family, with kids activities provided for the younger spectators.
When is it?
17th November
Where is it?

Why take part?
This is an event like no other! The obstacle course is a whole new type of challenge. It inspires real team spirit in the 4,500 participants as people help each other to pick up, dust off, and get over the obstacles. Team spirit wins the day.
Everyone gets a medal on completion, and everybody is electronically timed, so even if you're not a front runner you can still race against everybody else.
The event is a perfect challenge with which to impress people, and hopefully get them to dig deep and support legal aid charities by sponsoring you! The organisers call Survival an "ideal fundraising platform".
