LawWorks Regional Development

LawWorks is developing regional hubs in 2012 to build a network of legal advice stakeholders who will encourage local participation in pro bono activity and target the provision of pro bono services.

Pro bono activity in the North East is being coordinated by Northumbria University School of Law in conjunction with LawWorks.Local pro bono projecs are being developed to target specific needs with members of the hub having access to the full suite of LawWorks projects.  For further information about joining the North East Regional Hub contact northeast@lawworks.org.uk

Other regional hubs are being developed in Manchester, Birmingham, Yorkshire and Bristol.

Mapping

Information from law firms, in-house teams and not-for-profit pro bono legal advice service providers about the services that they run in various regions of the UK is available to hub members. Currently this information is being gathered in the North East and the West Midlands.
