We are open Monday to Friday in term time. Outside of university term time we provide referral information by email. Please note we have way more clients approaching us than we can help. We do our best with the resources we have to get back to clients with information about alternative sources of help if we cannot offer you an appointment, but it is not always possible.

Summary of Service
The City School Exclusion Service (CITYSES) is dedicated to helping students and families navigate and contest permanent school exclusions. We offer free casework and representation in the exclusion process.
We offer families of excluded children in London casework and representation in (subject to availability) in:
Meetings with school governors to challenge a permanent exclusion
Meetings at Independent Review Panels to challenge decisions of a school governing body
Please note we do not represent clients in tribunal hearings and cannot conduct litigation under the Legal Services Act 2007. We do not have a legal aid contract. If you are eligible for legal aid, you should seek advice through an education specialist.
