Summary of Service

The clinic provides an initial advice only, please contact the clinic via email at legaladvice@kingston with your legal query, leaving a brief summary of your case and a contact number. When you contact the clinic a student volunteer will telephone you to take the details of your case and the clinic manager will assess whether it is suitable, if the clinic is able to help you, you will be contacted to arrange an appointment. At your appointment you will meet two student advisers. Following this meeting your appointed advisers will research the particulars of your case, supervised by qualified legal professionals, and then send you a letter of advice within 14 days of the appointment. As well as offering a one to one advice service, the clinic also takes the service out into the local community, working with charities, community groups and resident associations to help them or their users to consider their legal rights and responsibilities or to tackle any legal issue.
