Summary of Service
The University of Law's Yorkshire Legal Advice Centre offers virtual appointments for individuals dealing with queries specified below. We offer an hours appointment to speak to a Solicitor in relation to their query, completely free of charge.
These queries include:
- Family Law (specialising in divorces, finances upon divorce, child arrangements, seeking contact and the matrimonial home).
- Mental capacity (Lasting Power of Attorney, best interests and guidance for relatives and care providers)
If you are unsure whether your query falls under one of our specified areas, please contact us for further assistance.
This service provides initial advice only and as such the clinic is not able to undertake casework or represent clients in court. We will provide written advice following your appointment where appropriate.
