Summary of Service

The City School Exclusion Service (CITYSES) is dedicated to helping students and families navigate and contest permanent school exclusions. We offer free casework and representation in the exclusion process. We offer families of excluded children in London casework and representation in (subject to availability) in: Meetings with school governors to challenge a permanent exclusion Meetings at Independent Review Panels to challenge decisions of a school governing body Please note we do not represent clients in tribunal hearings and cannot conduct litigation under the Legal Services Act 2007. We do not have a legal aid contract. If you are eligible for legal aid, you should seek advice through an education specialist.
