We already have three family lawyers but are looking for a fourth volunteer to help us provide legal advice on family law either at our face-to-face sessions from 7pm to 8pm on Thursdays (we do not expect attendance every week) and/or help us with online enquiries.
What will volunteers get out of this?
Islington is a very mixed borough and includes some of the most deprived areas in the country. Volunteers will therefore be supporting individuals who do not have the resources to access legal advice and would therefore have nowhere else to turn for help. Volunteers will have access to the full range of resources and training provided by LawWorks in order to help provide this support.
Person specification - what type of volunteers are you looking for?
We are looking for 2 years PQE solicitors, barristers or legal executives (with practising certificates) who are experienced in family law.
